Long Ago

Long ago I started this blog to help our family and friends keep up with us but things haven't gone quit as planned. In December/January we moved in to our new home and left the wonderful free internet at our previous residence. Needless to say, we have cheaper than cheap internet right now and I can't update the blog with pics. I hope this post will actually post.

Here are a few things that are going on with us right now just to catch any of you up that might not know.
We've been in our new home for about 4 1/2 months now and are really enjoying it.
We are expecting baby number 3 in September, which we are really excited about.
Damaris turned the big 1 back in March and has just decided to start walking, though she's been talking for quit a while.
Ezekiel is enjoying preschool and his church friends a lot and has discovered that he likes to go fishing.

There's not a lot of super exciting stuff going on in our family but we seem to stay super busy. Once we acquire a larger vehicle in the near future and new fridge, maybe then we'll think about some faster internet. Until then if you want to see some pics of our kids just email me and I'll send you some. Our internet is fast enough for skype so if anyone wants to skype then let us know. You can see our kids in action.

Snow In Clio

Here's my sister and mom with Baby Heath in the snow in Clio. Isn't he sooooo cute?!

New Year...New Adventures

With the coming of a new year came some new adventures in our household. The biggest adventure for us was moving into a "new house" as Ezekiel calls it. It's not new by any means but it's our new home. After four years of apartment living and our family doubling in size it was time for a move to a bigger place. I have some photos of our new house but am having trouble getting them uploaded. All of these pics came from my mom. Hopefully I'll have some pics of our house (in the snow) uploaded soon. We signed on our house at the end of the year and celebrated our anniversary on January 1 by moving in. We had a lot of help from our family, old neighbors, and our church family at TCC. Thanks so much to everyone who helped out. You guys were a tremendous blessing to us.
Cooking in the new kitchen. The people we bought the house from remodeled the kitchen and did a lot of work on the interior. The kitchen has a lot of new appliances and new countertops and backsplash. I think it's probably my favorite room. I can actually open the dishwasher and still walk through the kitchen at the same time!! Let's just say our last kitchen was SMALL!
Below is Damaris in her new bed. After nine months of sleeping in a pack-n-play, she is really enjoying all the room in her new crib. Her favorite thing to do is peek out from under the bumper pad after her nap and wait for someone to come get her. She also has her own room now.

Grandma Helen and Papa Thomas came to visit us at our new house. We had a great time with them. Ezekiel finally realized that my grandpa's name is the same as "Thomas" the train so hopefully he'll be able to remember it now.

Ezekiel playing with Papa Thomas' hat. He looked kind of thuggish with the hat on backwards and sideways and his crazy Mickey Mouse shirt Nana gave him.

Here's the newest adventure with Damaris. She's been army crawling all over the house. Here she is crawling through one of her new toys she got for Christmas. Thanks Betty and Aunty Emmy!

Christmas with the Heaths

We got to spend Christmas Day with the Heaths and Mews. My grandparents and Betty and Jr. were also there but I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of them. We have a wonderful time seeing our family and celebrating the birthday of King Jesus.

The Mews, The Heaths, and The Chiltons

Gaga bowling on the Wii.
Emily and Dustin invited us over to play the Wii they got for Christmas. Tim and I do not like video games at all but this was so much fun. It actually makes you get up and really play the game rather than just using your thumbs and sitting on you bum.

Ezekiel playing Heath's piano.

Baby Heath! What a cutie! Don't know if you can it but his hat has little dog ears on it. Precious!

Christmas with the Chiltons (part I)

We got to spend Christmas Eve with our family in Blanch. We had a great time seeing our niece and nephews and my in-laws. They are always a lot of fun to be around. We enjoy Blanch b/c it's not the city at all, so we can run around outside and not have to worry too much about traffic and bothering neighbors. Ezekiel likes climbing on the wood piles and hanging out in the tree house and Damaris likes the swing. That swing has been around a while. I'm guessing about 15 years since that's how old Caleb is.

Papa and his little boys.
Jason and Ezekiel love their Papa.

Here are some random pictures we took around the house before Christmas. Enjoy!
